August Adventures Await at Keystone Kidspace

Looking for hands-on family fun this August? Keystone Kidspace in downtown York has an exciting lineup of creative events, themed experiences, and active adventures for kids of all ages. From Gabby's Dollhouse-inspired activities to a free skateboarding clinic, there's something happening all month long!

🐱 Gabby's Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days

Calling all Gabby's Dollhouse fans! During MEOWseum Discovery Days, families can enjoy a day filled with imaginative, cat-tastic fun during Open Play at Keystone Kidspace.

Children can:

  • Complete a Gabby's Dollhouse scavenger hunt
  • Strike a pose at an interactive photo opportunity
  • Explore hands-on themed activities
  • Let their creativity shine through playful experiences inspired by the hit series

It's the perfect way for little fans to step into Gabby's magical world while enjoying everything Keystone Kidspace has to offer.

🎨 Gabby's Dollhouse MEOWgical Crafternoon

The fun continues with a special themed celebration that's perfect for Gabby's biggest fans!

During this MEOWgical Crafternoon, the entire first floor of Keystone Kidspace transforms into a Gabby's Dollhouse-inspired wonderland featuring:

  • Hands-on crafts
  • Interactive creative activities
  • Themed surprises
  • Plenty of opportunities for imaginative play

Date& Time : Sunday, August 9 1:00–3:00 PM

Admission: $17 per person,children ages 3 and under and Keystone Kidspace members receive free admission. Museums for All and ACM reciprocal benefits are also accepted.

🛹 FREE Learn to Skate Clinic with Ramp Up Skateboarding

Have a child who's always wanted to try skateboarding? This free beginner clinic is the perfect opportunity!

Certified coaches from Ramp Up Skateboarding will introduce young skaters to the basics in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. No previous skateboarding experience is necessary.

Participants should bring:

  • A safety helmet (bike helmets are acceptable)
  • Water bottle
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Optional knee, elbow, and wrist pads
  • Skateboards are provided at no additional cost.

Who: Ages 5–9

Keystone Kidspace belongs to the Mess Makers, Tool Tinkerers, Computer Coders, Paint Pushers and Flapjack Flippers. At Keystone Kidspace, kids can have fun while learning about science, technology, engineering, art and math through interactive exhibits, hands-on activities and unique classes. 

Here’s when we’re open for families to drop-in to play and explore:

Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Sunday, 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

2nd Tuesday of the month 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. for Preschool Open Play

Please refer to our calendar for additional open drop-in hours, including select holidays, in service days and other special days.

Parking & Directions

You’ll find us at 10 East Hamilton Avenue York and easily accessible from I-83, Route 30 and the Heritage Rail Trail. Free Parking is available — with the exception that each car must have a parking tag or daily pass displayed. During York Revolution home games, members and visitors will be required to pay for parking.
