Parents and children are invited to enjoy a morning of creativity, outdoor fun, and family connection during the Coffee Club & Messy Play Day at the Park on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
The event will take place beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the William H. Kain Park – Catfish Pavilion, offering families up to three hours of playground fun along with a variety of hands-on activities designed for children of all ages.
Admission is $15 per child and includes access to the playground as well as a wide range of engaging activities under the pavilion. Children can explore multiple sensory tables, splash at the water table, dig into sand and stone play bins, and enjoy bubbles. Young artists can also paint rocks with all supplies provided, while children interested in tie-dye can create their own colorful masterpiece by bringing a cotton item from home.
Parents haven't been forgotten, either. An iced coffee bar will be available for adults, while children can enjoy snacks throughout the event. Additional highlights include face painting and hair tinsel, adding even more fun to the day's festivities.
The event welcomes children of all ages, and families should register each child who is 9 months of age or older. A sibling discount is available during registration.
It's the perfect opportunity for families to spend time outdoors, let kids explore through play, and enjoy a relaxing morning together.
