Have you every wondered what happens at the Nixon Park Nature Center after the sun goes down? Now is your chance to find out!
Families are invited to Nixon Park Nature Center on Thursday, October 22, for A Night at the Nature Center, a fun after-dark adventure exploring the world of nocturnal wildlife.
The lights will be turned off and your flashlight will become your guide as you make your way through the Nature Center. Along the way, you’ll learn about the animals that wake up when we go to sleep and discover some of the fascinating creatures and secrets hiding in the nighttime darkness. Time slots will be available between 6 and 7:45 PM, making this a fun evening adventure for families looking to experience nature in a whole new way.
And since Halloween is just around the corner, costumes are optional—but highly encouraged! 👻🎃
Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot ahead of time by emailing NixonCountypark@YorkCountyPA.gov. When registering please Include your name, the number of people attending, the ages of the children, and a phone number.
Grab your flashlight, bring your curiosity, and come see what comes alive when the lights go out!
