Some of York County’s most talented young musicians will take the stage this November—not just to perform, but to say thank you.
The concert will bring together SHINE’s top student performers, talented youth musicians from schools across York County, and York-area professional musicians who have mentored the next generation of performers.
The evening is designed as a heartfelt tribute to the men and women who serve York County as police officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, dispatchers, and corrections professionals. “This concert is a beautiful way for our young people to use their talents to say something that sometimes gets lost in the busyness of everyday life: thank you,” said Jamie Noerpel, director of the York County Safety Collab. “Our first responders dedicate themselves to our community. This event gives the community an opportunity to celebrate them while investing in their families.”
Every ticket purchased will directly support first responders and their children through a scholarship fund administered by the York County Safety Collab, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Dress is formal attire, Black tie optional. First responders are encouraged to attend in Class A dress uniform.
Community members are also invited to purchase tickets and join the celebration.
